Charitable Foundation, Inc.

On Friday, November 11th at 5pm the Moonjumpers Charitable Foundation, Inc. along with its Corporate Sponsors PSEGLI & National Grid again partnered with General Needs to provide the Veterans that are staying at the Beacon House facility (Building #11) with a home cooked meal and presented each Veteran with a Necessities Care Package which will include brand new boots.  Food was provided to all in attendance by The Shamrock Restaurant & Bar of Huntington. The homeless veterans that stay at this shelter which is located on the VA Medical Center property of Northport are only allowed to stay at this facility for 90 days yearly.

If anyone is interested in providing assistance they can contact Lonnie Sherman at 631-266-1672 for more details on this event or another upcoming monthly event.
