On November 6, 2016 the Moonjumpers held a Rock & Bowl Event at Larkfield Lanes which raised monies to purchase toys for families in need within the Huntington community this holiday season. In addition to the monies raised our Corporate Sponsor PSEGLI provided the Moonjumpers with a Community Partnership Program Challenge Matching Grant. 100% of all the monies raised for the 6th Annual Project T.O.Y. Event was utilized for the Family Service League and Tri-Community and Youth Agency’s Project T.O.Y. (Treasures Our Youth) initiative.
On Monday, December 19, 2016 through Wednesday, December 21, 2016 the Tri-CYA Facility doors opened to hundreds of volunteers that will help over a thousand pre-registered families select toys for the holiday.
Project T.O.Y. gives parents of struggling families an opportunity to choose two new unwrapped gifts for their children. Our volunteers wrap the gifts and present them back to the family. The annual holiday boutique at the Tri-CYA facility is a time of pure joy parents who are excited to be able to provide their children with toys that they otherwise would not be able to afford.
