Moonjumpers Corporate Sponsor National Grid - VERG (Veteran Employee Resource Group) to help support our Veterans at the Beacon House in Northport
On Monday, January 23rd from 4:00-6:30pm the Moonjumpers Charitable Foundation, Inc. along with its Corporate Sponsors National Grid, PSEGLI and The Townwide Fund of Huntington will again partner with General Needs to provide the Veterans that are staying at the Beacon House facility (Building #11) with a home cooked meal and present each Veteran with a Necessities Care Package which was provided by National Grid - VERG. A home cooked meal will be provided to all in attendance. The homeless veterans that stay at this shelter which is located on the VA Medical Center property of Northport are only allowed to stay at this facility for 90 days yearly.

These Monthly Food & Care Package Events are conducted the 4th Friday of every month at the Beacon House in Northport. On the third Saturday of every month we will pre-pack the necessity care packages at Westy Self Storage on 4049 Jericho Turnpike in East Northport. We will pre-pack care packages for over 300 veterans staying at multiple shelters throughout the Northeast Region.
