Moonjumpers Scholarship Program

At Moonjumpers, our mission is to illuminate the lives of children, families, and veterans by providing essential support and resources. Through financial aid, products, and equipment, we are dedicated to improving the quality of life for those in need. Our efforts extend to various charitable and not-for-profit organizations, ensuring meaningful impact where it matters most.

Scholarship Opportunities

The Moonjumpers Scholarship Program awards three (3), $1,000 scholarships to High School Seniors in the Huntington and South Huntington School Districts who embody leadership, service, and dedication to their communities. Each Scholarships are inspired by individuals who have made a lasting impact in community. 

Students may apply to only one of the following three:

  • Moonjumpers ScholarshipDesigned for trade school-bound high school seniors from the Huntington or South Huntington School Districts. This award recognizes students for their academic achievements, financial need, and commitment to community service, empowering them to continue making a difference.

  • Kenneth A. Christensen Leadership Huntington ScholarshipAwarded to students pursuing careers in architecture, engineering, urban planning, or government—fields that shape the future of housing and communities.

  • Lawrence “Larry” Kushnick Leadership Huntington ScholarshipRecognizing students with a passion for law, public service, and community leadership, supporting those who aspire to make a difference through advocacy and legal work.

By investing in students who share our commitment to service and leadership, we aim to support the next generation of changemakers.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must be a senior in high school planning to attend college or trade school.

  • Must attend a school within the Huntington or South Huntington School Districts.

  • Must have a GPA within the range of 75-85.

  • Demonstrated community involvement through activities such as volunteering at local organizations, participating in church events, contributing to school programs, helping at food pantries, or supporting family and community needs.

  • Must provide recommendation letters.

  • Deadline: May, 1 2025.

    Are you passionate about giving back to your community and planning to attend trade school or a two-year degree program? The Moonjumpers Scholarship is for students who have made a meaningful impact through volunteering, community service, or helping others in need. Whether you’ve spent time assisting neighbors, working with local organizations, or finding ways to improve your community, we want to support your future in the trades or technical fields!

  • Kenneth A. Christensen Leadership Huntington Scholarship

    Interested in building the future? This scholarship is for students planning to study architecture, engineering, urban planning, or government—fields that shape where and how we live. If you're passionate about designing spaces, solving housing challenges, or making a difference in local government, apply for this award!

  • Lawrence “Larry” Kushnick Leadership Huntington Scholarship

    Are you passionate about giving back to your community and aspire to make a difference through advocacy and community work?  This scholarship is for students planning to study law, public policy or fields that provide direct support to communities or individuals, we want to help you make a difference.
