Celebrating Community and Compassion: Our Recent Donation to Little Shelter

At Moonjumpers, we believe in the power of community and the spirit of giving. Recently, we had the honor of joining forces with National Grid and Shore Funding Solutions to make a significant impact at the Little Shelter Animal Rescue & Adoption Center in East Northport. Together, we donated over 1,000 pounds of essential supplies, and we couldn’t be more proud of the difference we’re making in the lives of rescued animals and the families that care for them.

This generous donation included an assortment of food, toys, treats, towels, blankets, laundry detergent, bleach, and many other supplies. Every item plays a vital role in ensuring that the animals at Little Shelter receive the care and comfort they need during their stay. The support provided by these supplies helps maintain a clean, safe, and nurturing environment for the animals, and it goes a long way toward enhancing the overall well-being of everyone involved in the rescue and adoption process.

Our thanks extend deeply to everyone at Moonjumpers for their dedication and hard work. The success of this initiative would not have been possible without the commitment and generosity of our team, as well as our esteemed partners. We are incredibly grateful to National Grid, whose steadfast support has helped empower our community efforts. Additionally, our sincere appreciation goes out to Shore Funding Solutions and their outstanding staff, whose contributions have been indispensable.

A special shout-out is in order for Jennifer Lombardi and the entire team at Shore Funding Solutions. Their dedication, passion, and tireless efforts have been a driving force behind making this donation a reality. Jennifer’s leadership and the staff’s unwavering commitment to community service have truly set a high standard for what we can achieve when we work together for a common cause.

This initiative holds a particularly special place in our hearts. Cliff Perry-Benson, a cherished member of our community, expressed his personal gratitude. He fondly recalls his own adoption story – he was adopted from Little Shelter back in 2019 under the name Bonicelli. His journey from Little Shelter to becoming part of our extended family is a touching reminder of the life-changing impact that support from community organizations can have.

The ripple effect of this donation is already being felt. Little Shelter Animal Rescue & Adoption Center has a long-standing reputation for being a haven for rescued animals. With every new donation, the center is better equipped to provide medical care, nutritious meals, and a comfortable living space for animals awaiting adoption. The overwhelming generosity of Moonjumpers, National Grid, and Shore Funding Solutions underscores our shared commitment to animal welfare and community service.

Our collaboration with local partners demonstrates that when businesses and individuals unite, remarkable things can happen. This donation is a testament to the value of community support and the importance of giving back. It highlights how each contribution – no matter how big or small – plays a crucial role in nurturing the lives of vulnerable animals and creating a better, kinder world.

Looking ahead, we remain committed to supporting initiatives that bring positive change. We hope that our actions inspire others to get involved, whether through volunteering, donating, or simply spreading the word about the incredible work done at organizations like Little Shelter. Together, we can continue to build a compassionate community where every life is cherished and every act of kindness creates a lasting impact.

Thank you once again to everyone at Moonjumpers, National Grid, Shore Funding Solutions, and especially to Jennifer Lombardi and her team. Your generosity has made a significant difference in the lives of so many, and for that, we are profoundly grateful. Let’s continue to work hand-in-hand to support those in need and celebrate the true spirit of community.
